A home-away-from-home for local authors as well as those from around the globe, Haslam’s Bookstore in St. Petersburg, Florida has always been a favourite haunt for those who court the written word.

Among authors who regularly visited the store was famous American writer Jack Kerouac. In fact, he not only returned regularly to the bookshop during his life, but also from beyond the grave.
